I have a voice that can vary for most projects and can be any of those described in the left hand column.I have spent the last 22 years providing a great variety of voices both genuine male and female for the Fairytale Theatre Company,for animated marionettes.My voice can be up and down the vocal scale for a very wide range of characterizations ie the entire vocal casts of the following:Cinderella

The Frog Prince
The Nutcracker
Beauty and the Beast
The Princess and the Pea.
My first boss was John Blundell,creator of the Thunderbirds puppets ie Parker the chauffeur for Gerry and Sylvia Andersen.

My Voice Experience

I provided all the voices for the Fairytale Theatre Company from 1986 to 2009,and provided voices for the Midlands Arts Theatre Company puppet characters in the Seventies.From 2002 to 2005,I was on tour providing the voices for children's productions at the Tricycle in Kilburn,London,The Plymouth Theatre Royal (The Drum),The Ustinov in Bath,Bristol Old Vic,Stratford Circus,Compass in Hillingdon,Luton Library Theatre,The Studio in Beckenham,Haymarket Theatre,Basingstoke,Chats Palace in Hackney,Cranliegh Arts Centre,Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford,Maltings in Farnham,The Brewery Arts in Cumbria,The Hawth in Crawley,Edward Alleyne Theatre,Dulwich,Komedia in Brighton,Pavilion Theatre in Worthing,Battersea Arts Centre.,Windsor Arts Centre,Medway Arts Festival and Arundel Festival,amongst others.

My Training

I was in full time training for drama from 1968 to 1971,which involved extensive Radio work and microphone technique,obtaining a certificate or qualification from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama,London.This also involved examinations on Radio technique at the BBC
in London.I have also been the subject of several radio interviews for different BBC stations,on the subject of voicing puppets where I had to do many voices on the radio,so have been into many studios.
I am also a published chidren's author.My book,Jemima's
Mice is in book stores,and can be purchased also from Play.Com and Amazon.I have done several public readings from my book,taking on all the character's voices,in Book stores,schools,and at the Arundel Festival.I have also fronted workshops on voice characterizations and writing children's stories in schools.

Microphone-Zenhizers.Head phones,Sound booth.Sound engineer operating mixing desk.Director and possible fellow actors.

Additional Skills

I have also been an actor in Children's theatre and repertory theatre and have written all the touring voice scripts for the Fairytale Theatre Company from 1986 to 2009.Script writing is an additional skill that I possess.
