My Voice Experience
Although I have years of professional voice and speech training as an actor, I have only just recently stepping into the Voice Over world.
My Training
I attended New York University where I studied voice-work under Chuck Jones and speech from numerous varied teachers, also studying accents and dialects. For graduate school I went to the University of California, San Diego, where I continued my vocal training, adding singing and sight-reading to my skills. In Los Angeles, I have studied voice over work with Laurel van der Linde, focusing on animation and audio-books.
My Studio Equipment
I have a DIY home studio I assembled with a Audio-Technica AT2020 mic and an MBOX mini recording system, with Pro-Tools LE. (My headphones are Audio-Technica ATH-M30s, but I imagine I'm the only one who cares about that.) I have access to a studio with an ISDN line, given a days notice.
Additional Skills
I regularly participate in a Late-Night sketch comedy show in Los Angeles and have much experience creating a variety of characters, both extreme and naturalistic.
