My Voice Experience

David H.M. Lambert is the owner/operator of Lambert Studios based in Dallas, Texas.

Since 1981, David H.M. Lambert has worked as a professional actor in the Dallas area. He is probably best known to audiences as Ebenezer Scrooge, having played the role for over a decade. He has been nominated for several acting awards and rated by the Dallas Morning News as D/FW's "Best Scrooge" when compared with Dallas Theater Center and Casa Mañana.

Mr. Lambert has also spent 5 years working with Intelemedia Communications as their principal voiceover talent recording and editing voice prompts for IVR systems. (Interactive Voice Response)

To round out his talents, he has also spent 11 years in Information Technology managing servers, telecommuting systems, and telephony systems.

In the summer of 2004, Mr. Lambert fell victim to outsourcing. He quickly identified this as an opportunity to further his acting career by re-entering the voiceover market. Not wanting to spend precious money on expensive recording studios, he quickly took advantage of his eclectic skill sets by producing his own voice demo.

Soon other actors expressed interest in having Mr. Lambert produce their own voice demos. And Lambert Studios was born. Created by a starving artist for starving artists.
