My Voice Experience

I started out with basic radio spots and added many corporate projects over the years - sales training, safety programs, investor reports, technical presentations including multi-syllabic tongue twisters that rarely trip me up. I've done some acting too, on stage and in spots.

My Training

I'm well read, and have a wide range of interests that make me unlikely to mispronounce uncommon words. In fact, I've insisted on hauling out the dictionary in sessions a couple of times when the director and I disagreed on pronunciations. I've also been involved in the Toastmaster program to help me hone my presentation styles. I've been involved in community theatre which has helped me with nuances in delivery.

My Studio Equipment

I record on a Windows XP computer using Cool Edit Pro and a Studio Projects C1 cardioid pattern microphone with frequency response of 20-20,000Hz.

I have some access to royalty-free music, and am expanding the library, but it's limited at this time.

Additional Skills

I produced audio projects for one of the larger ad agencies in this market for 4 years, and spent many years producing spots at a local radio station. I've also been a writer for many types of presentations, radio & TV spots, as well as for print publications.

In working with a diverse group of clients, I've had the opportunity to learn much about many different industries - health care, manufacturing, retail and others.
