My Voice Experience

I am a presenter on the MusicalTalk podcast - a specialist musical theatre podcast in the UK. This includes both ad hoc interview material with musical theatre talents and more conversational work with co-presenters.

My Training

I attended two Voice Over Masterclasses with Gary Terzza, during which we looked at several different styles of VO work. I have undergone several elements of actor training, including short courses at both East 15 Acting School and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London (which included masterclasses with Patsy Rodenburg), and some musical theatre training at Trinity College of Music. I hold a diploma in musical theatre.

My Studio Equipment

I have an SE2200a Condenser mic and a Shure SM57 Beta running into a Cakewalk UA-25EX pre-amp. I am currently revising my audio equipment.

Additional Skills

As an executive market research interviewer, I have interviewed Members of Parliament, Captains of Industry and journalists among others, and have a good professional tone of voice. Through my acting experience, I have played a multitude of different characters using different voice styles. Through singing I have also improved my voice both in terms of quality and range.
