My Voice Experience

Having literally grown up in a radio station (my father was in radio) I have been involved in voice work since I was a child. I voiced my first ad when I was six years old and have continued in radio and voiceover work for the past 35 years. I have extensive experience in radio, production, news/copy writing and more. I have done voice acting for recorded dramatic productions and have 10 years experience in internet broadcast. I currently do daily news reports forfrom 8PM until midnight Central time Monday through Friday.

My Training

I attended Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, AR where I majored in mass media commuications/radio. I managed the campus radio station for two years and received numerous awards for excellence in broadcast including HSU's Communications Arts & Sciences 1990 Broadcast Journalist of the Year Award (now called the Michael J. Ellis Award for Broadcast Excellence). I am a trained musician and have worked professionally in music since 1977. I also work as an actor with Arkadelphia Community Theater.
