Voice Description
I have a very versatile voice that can be warm and deep for narrations, smooth and professional for presentations, and fun for commercials. My friends have told me for years that I should do commercials or movie trailers, because I will randomly pick up an object in the grocery store, for example, and sell it to them in my Announcer Voice. I have a great voice, but I am new and Green to the process, I must admit. I will work to provide clients with the desired professional result at a modest cost.

My Voice Experience
My experience is limited to making friends, family, and others laugh with my announcer voice, picking up a random object in the grocery store and 'selling' them on the features and benefits based on what I quickly read from the packaging. I also do impersonations, including a pretty convincing old man, or just tell jokes or recite limericks in my deep announcer voice. People tell me I'm good and need to look into doing voice-overs as a career, so here I am, looking for guidance and opportunity.
My Training
I have no formal voice training, and have worked in the automotive and aviation fields for 25 years combined. The interaction with individuals of every cultural and economic background through my career is where I have gained a lot of my Material and inspiration, and where I became exposed to plenty of advertisement and communications, all the while thinking of how I could do it better. I regret not having acted on that urge until now!
My Studio Equipment
I have a Yeti Blue microphone and iMac computer.
Additional Skills
I have 25 years combined in the automotive and aviation fields. I managed a flight school and aircraft rental company for several years, selling the dream of flight to clients. I'm also a private pilot. Currently I am Parts Manager of a Kia dealership. Hobbies include cooking, gardening, healthy eating, restoring and maintaining cars, especially older Volkswagens. I used to record the on hold messages for the flight school I managed, and feel that I would do well in message-on-hold recordings, audio books, documentaries, commercials.
