My Voice Experience

Ran a web design company and did voice overs for some clients there. At the same time I began to DJ for a classic rock radio station, also made promos and commercials in a professional studio, also did prepro work and research for morning AM radio show. Worked there for 1 year. Started working With PAX TV station as master control operator and did several voice overs for our clients, station bought by NBC affiliate and went to work for them. Also ran audio board for live newscasts there. Total time in TV 3+ years.
More recently, worked in telesales for companies such Sprint and Dish Network. So even though I have been out of radio for a while, I never stopped selling with my voice. Currently becoming quite proficient with Protools as I am also a musician for over 20 years and working on my own music project.

My Studio Equipment

I have a home studio built from a dual core PC with Protools 8 with an AKG Perception 220 Condenser mic, also electric and acoustic guitars and 2 basses and a keyboard. The instruments give many other options for sound effects as well as being able to write original music for your project.

Additional Skills

I have lived and worked in VA (Born and raised) TN, MS, FL TX and NM as well as Mexico. I have done everything from Phone sales to truck driving, carpentry to on site advanced tech support. I have a background in many white and blue collar professions. This has given me a wide variety of personalities to pull from. I can talk to most anyone and become friends in a short time since I respect and understand where they are coming from. You can sell your prospect better if you understand what is important to them. At Dish Network I did quite well because I could hear 5 seconds of a persons voice and adjust to mirror their dialect or lack of it. The only reason I don't work there now is they closed english sales here in El Paso and laid everyone off.
