Voice Description
My voice is a little deep. I can add warmth to my voice for narrations, and can create a full range of emotions without losing the tenure of my original sound choices. I can sound very calming, but also very excited and silly.
I speak Canadian English (almost no accent), but can create many accents; including standard English, American Southern dialect, and Canadiana. I can also do a generic European accent in English. I am also very good at talking to children without being condescending.

My Voice Experience
I write and tell jokes. It's what I do. I live in Toronto, Ontario Canada (by choice... no really) where I have a wonderful daughter and a rewarding career. I use my voice to make a living as a comedian, but I also perform a family/kid's show that is pretty much just me goofing around for a half hour and doing magic tricks. I do this show, not for the money (have you seen what they pay for a kid's show?), but because it is a massive blast and keeps me grounded. I love doing my stand-up, and strive to constantly improve my style and delivery. As of yet, I do not have any voice over experience, minus a very good coarse in preperation of material and taking direction, but am an apt learner, and an eager worker... and (if you hadn't guessed) probably a lot cheaper until I build up a reputation. (Strike now while the iron is still naive!)
My Training
I have attended theatre school at Humber College, and completed an extensive voice class at VoiceWorks in Toronto. My voice remains constantly trained by the nature of my work. It is my most important tool, and therefore I keep it in good condition. I have had a long list of jobs that involve voice and performance, such as; The Ontario Science Centre, Tour of The Universe (interactive show produced by Moses Zniemer), and Theatre productions across Toronto, yet have mostly just done stand-up comedy as my job for the last 10 years or so.

Additional Skills
I'm funny.
I like to write.
I am good at taking direction, and eager to learn more about the industry.
Incase you missed the above section... I'm new at this (voice over) so I'm likely cheaper than others with more experience. I'm not selling myself short. I just don't expect that I can win the Grand Prix, just because I got my license.
