Voice Description
Low and gravelly for commercials, warm and deep for commercials, professional for presentations...but mostly, lots of fun for the voices that need excitement, creativity and energy. Those are my favorites....

My Voice Experience
Well...
I first got started doing voices as a defense mechanism - I found it was easier to deliver bad news when you did it with a funny voice.
My voice landed my roles in plays and musicals all through school, and got me into Boston University's prestigious School of Fine Arts Theatre program. Almost everything I was cast in required or was based around a character voice.
I've done voices for several video games. My favorite is still Star Control II: Masters of the UrQuan, for which I voiced four different aliens. The Dinosaur Baseball game was fun, too...
I've done a bunch of industrial narration for the Pro Audio industry - my highest profile clients are Alesis and Summit Audio.
I also did a series of commercial spots for Norman Lear at one point. That was an honor.
My Training
Boston University School of Fine Arts - Theatre Performance major
Voice over classes at The Voicecaster, LA
Private study with Martha Mayakis
My Studio Equipment
I have a full digital recording studio with both Pro Tools and Digital Performer. Mics by Neumann, Sennheiser, Akg, Shure and Lauten. Outboard gear by Empirical Labs, Lexicon, Bricasti, Thermionic Culture, Elysia and Summit Audio, and more.
Oh yes...and over 30 synthesizers. ;^)
Additional Skills
I'm a somewhat animated personality type. Sort of like having Robin Williams in the booth, but not quite as dark as he gets sometimes.
