Voice Description
This is hard because I am applying based on other people telling me I have a radio voice I have been told this 3-4 times a week for 15 years. My voice changes from all business (Deep, authoritative, strong, and professional) to what I refer to as normal, which is tinnier and a bit more playful. I also goof around with silly voices. I have never really done any reading in character, so I am hoping to start with narration or just simple reading, but I am willing to try anything.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
I have the accent that no one can place. That is to say I have moved so much that I do not really carry an accent.
My Voice Experience
I did an audition for radio once and they did offer me the job, but I turned it down because the hours were to low to maintain my life at the time. In hind site I wish I had taken it and just gotten a second job. I really am interested in this kind of work and have simply never taken the time to learn more about it.
My Training
Training, well I have no formal training. I sang base in a church choir, took drama in high school, perform at local poetry readings (mostly my own work)
My Studio Equipment
Not much, I have a Logitech G35 headset, HP Pavilion laptop, and use Audacity (shareware wave recorder and editor), and a quiet room.
Additional Skills
I am a perfectionist, and believe that the little details are very important to the finished project. I have outstanding annunciation and a broad vocabulary. I have worked as a server for many years in casual to fine dinning, and as a result my professionalism and articulation are both reflected in my voice. You might say I actually work in character, because the person they see at the table is very different from the person my coworkers see behind the door. I have done some recording and character work on audio projects of my own, but these were done more for the purpose of making my own books available for me to listen to as I focused on the next part of the story. At the moment I can record at home and send raw voice or perhaps do a little noise reduction, probably suitable for radio. I am also willing to record in a local studio, but am far more comfortable at home.
