My Voice Experience

My first time in the studio, something clicked. "This is where I belong. This feels right"

I have been supplying voice over, mostly on a non-professional basis for over 30 years in radio and TV commercials, also a bit of radio broadcasting recently.

In case you haven't guessed by now, I have done my own commercials for my own business....but remember, prejudice is and ugly thing.....so please read on....

As a former employer in a retail environment, I fully appreciate the importance of conveying the message, the image, the feeling, and not just the words. Each part of the medium involved has to perform at top notch and the voice over is without a doubt the most human and critical of all.

My Training

Other than the 30 years of non-professional experience mentioned elsewhere, my training includes workshops and seminars with Edge Studio, coaching from Paul Liberti in Manhattan and Bruce Bailey-Johnson as well as critique and assistance from many local broadcasters.

I was heavily involved with the artistic conception of many of our TV and radio commercials. Also, many years of performing on stage in local bands coupled with a good sense of humor and storytelling contribute to my sense rhythm and timing.

Additional Skills

I have written commercial copy as well as newspaper columns in the past. My 30 year experience in retail sales has given me an appreciation for presentation and effective communication. Always been interested in audio recording and editing, I now have new software that I plan to utilize in furthering my career.
