My Voice Experience
David is currently a full-time actor and tutor having been a full-time planetarium presenter and boasts a large amount of strings on his bow. He's a presenter and scientist, co-presenting the twice-monthly Jodcast, and also training to be a Methodist local preacher at the same time. He has recently completed two years of training at the Court Theatre Training Company and has recently returned from a six-month tour of India performing Shakespeare's Measure for Measure.
Before going to London in 2006, he wrote his first full-length stage show: It's About Time... which premiered in November 2005. Since then he has become a well known voice actor. Notably, he recently narrated Moonfleet by Edgar Rice Burrows for Colonial Radio Theatre and the new novel 'Fallen Heroes' by Barry Nugent.
He began his voiceover experience however with Darker Projects, where he plays the Doctor, Byron in the Byron Chronicles and many other parts. Please check his website for more information.
He is passionate about science communication and would love to see Tomorrow's World return to UK screens. His other goal is to play the Doctor in the BBC's acclaimed sci-fi series, once David Tennant and the next incarnation have gone through.
My Training
2 years training with the Court Theatre Training Company, and previously educated in astrophysics at Cambridge University.
