My Voice Experience
1980 - 1996 I was an actor working in film, theatre, tv and radio. I also made many advertisements as a voice over artist, and voiced over literally dozens of characters in the BBC TV series 'Out of Court'.
Between 1996 and 2001 I was the resident artist and producer/director at Logorhythm Studios, Lexington St, W1: producing and voicing over adverts; radio dramas, talking books; television soundtracks; and training and corporate material.
For the past few years I have been the radio tutor at Webber Douglas Academy, Central St Martins, and the Drama Centre London. Last August a film in which I co-starred with Ian Hart was re-released on DVD, and I decided to resume my acting career.
In the last 18 months I have voiced over a series of documentaries for the BBC Natural History Unit, performed in a couple of plays for BBC Radio 4, and I did the voice over (poetry reading) on Z. Preisners new composition Silence, Night and Dreams. I could also be heard at the Barbican Gallery, London, as an audio installation in the Seduced exhibition entitled The Voice of Sex'. This year I voiced over the documentary film 'Shark Assassin:The Whale that ate Jaws!', which was broadcast on the Natural History Channel in the USA and on Channel 5 in the UK, and I narrated a feature flm: 'The Mountain Within', which is currently on cinematic release in the UK.
I have produced a new show reel for myself, which contains some of these things, as well as much more. Should you be interested I will be happy to send you a copy. Alternatively there is a variety of material that can be listened to on this website.I hope that you like it and that if the opportunity to work together should arise that you will contact me.
