My Training

I studied Real Estate in college completing my pre-licensing studies at Allied Real Estate Schools.
I studied Marketing and Negotiation Skills at Midwestern State University.
A major focus of my education has been placed on marketing and the importance of tailoring your marketing campaigns to attract the attention of the target demographic through creative copywriting.
This is a craft that I had already been honing during my 12 years of real world experience working in broadcast media.
I also engage in continuing education on a regular basis covering topics that I believe to be important to the development and improvement of my voice over and presentation skills.

I have also spent many years studying and developing my skills as a songwriter.
I am a former board member of the Texas Music Association
I have had original songs published through The Paramount Group-Nashville Tennessee,Hollywood Artists Records-Los Angeles,California and Hilltop Records.

During my Broadcast career I was fortunate to be able to interview many artists in Country music both at the Grand Old Opry in Nashville and back home in San Antonio. I had the chance to talk with legends like Hank Thompson and Conway Twitty as well as Reba McEntire and the Judds. I also MC'ed concerts introducing everyone from George Strait to Alan Jackson to Dwight Yoakam to Randy Travis. I had the chance to interview Alabama at the Farm-Aid concert in Austin,Texas.

I wrote,performed and produced "on-air" jingles for my weekly Texas music radio show called "The Lone Star Hour" that aired throughout central Texas for several years.

I have been very fortunate to be able to create many memorable and enriching experiences in my career and it is my sincere hope that my association with Voice 123 will produce many more.
