Voice Description
I was a radio announcer throughout the 1980's. Back then, and today, people have told me that I have 'such a pleasant voice.' I have a clear, moderately deep adult male voice. I understand the differences in regional and foreign pronounciations. I have a professional quality voice, yet my voice is 'new' to the media.
I can adapt to the requirements of most opportunities: professional presentations, narrations, audiobooks, ad tracks, voice mail and institutional announcements, and more. I'm not much for character voices. I have a voice that evokes trust, intelligence, and comfort. I can also use these qualities to deliver an occasional 'zinger' in the script. As a trainer, my motto was, "If you're laughing, you're listening."

My Voice Experience
Professional radio announcer, 1980-1989. This career included on-air shifts, newscasts, commercial production, feature production, game shows, live remote broadcasts, and more. Responsibilities also included copywriting, operating equipment, and dealing with the public.
I have been off the air for a while. I have had various responsibilities including recording voice mail prompts, answering the phone with a professional voice and manner, making presentations to audiences of various sizes and on various topics, and otherwise representing my employer.
