Voice Description

While having a deep voice, I can cover a number of styles from soft to up tempo. I would like to add that uptempo doesn't mean over written copy that needs to fit in a time restraint. Narratives, informational deliveries and indutrial presentations are another important part of my repertoire.

My Voice Experience

I have been involved in commercial radio since 1977. Over the course of time, my experience has led me to morning shows, news reading, commercials and production/editing. I have done voiceover work for commercial television(WTAJ-TV), I have done instructional videos for Sheetz Convenience store chain and some product video voiceovers. I have done play-by-play sportscasting for several sports including basketball, football and baseball and have worked with a minor league professional baseball team as its lead broadcaster. I have also served as the public address announcer for St. Francis University mens and womens basketball and football since 1978. I have recording greetings and voice mail box descriptions. Messages on hold and phone system directories and instructionshave also been recorded.

My Training

Through the help of several broadcast professionals I was able to learn much about delivery, pacing and inflection. I have been on the air in formats ranging from Top 40 to Classic Rock to news and talk radio.
