Voice Description

My specialties in voice work are Hard Sell/Aggressive and Sincere/Believable. With 17 years experience, I can deliver the type of read you are looking for quickly and effectively. I take direction extremely well and usually can mimic any type of delivery in one take. I have two distinct styles and am capable of maintaining either one indefinitely. For corporate powerpoint or training videos I use an authoritative, but natural sounding read. For hard sell spots I use an aggressive, edgy but not overbearing style. No matter what type of read you are looking for I can deliver it.

My Voice Experience

I am currently employed at CJOY/Magic F.M. Radio in Guelph Ontario Canada as morning show host. I have worked at CJOY since 1988 and have been doing mornings since 1992. As a professional broadcaster, my daily duties include a fairly heavy production load for both CJOY and Magic FM. I have access to a full professional production studio equipped with all the necessary tools to make your spots or V/O’s stand out. I can do straight voice material or for an additional fee, fully produced and mixed spots. In addition to my duties at the radio station I have done various free lance spots for many local and provincial clients.

My Training

I am a graduate of the Radio and Television Broadcasting course at Niagara College of Applied Arts and Sciences in Welland Ontario Canada. (Class of 1988) With 17 years of on air and commercial reading experience I can make the words in the script “Come to life”.
