My Voice Experience

Since childhood I've done voices. My dad was a big fan of cartoons & comedy, brought us up on it and from a young age I've been imitating TV & radio personalities, cartoon characters, comedians, etc. I have done commercial voice-overs, comedy tapes and productions, voices for animated characters in movies, etc. My heroes as a child were Mel Blanc, Rich Little and Frank Gorshen, & to no little extent Frank Oz & Jim Henson, among many others. For the last 9 years I have done (on & off) radio announcements for WWOZ Radio in New Orleans as a volunteer (non-profit station) & read for the blind on WRBH

My Training

I have beem involved with radio since college, where i had both a solo radio show and one one with a partner here and in the UK. I also wrote, produced and recorded a News & Sports daily report. I graduated from The Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, Ohio as a certified Recording Engineer. I've miked and mixed live shows, stage & field for bands and corporate speakers and I produced and mixed for bands in England and in America and have written & recorded solo music for fun, no profit. I've done Promos for several years for WWOZ FM in New Orleans until Katrina made me move to NY.

Additional Skills

I'm a recording engineer & computer networking engineer. I've done digital mixdowns, PostProduction and sweetening for artists & musicians in my spare time & record my own electronic music. I'm recently removed from New Orleans due to Hurricane Katrina, and have settled in NY temporarily.
