Voice Description

My voice is very articulate, but smooth enough for any general voice applications, whether it be a professional presentation, or a radio/TV ad. I can lower and raise my voice an octave for a specific purpose. My voice can be very warm, without sounding too robotic.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Being from Texas, I can do a light southern drawl, and can also ham it up with an (obvious) over-the-top southern accent. I can also do an old man's scratchy voice, Julia Child, Meatwad (from Aqua Teen Hunger Force), and a nerdy voice. I've been told that my voice would be good for radio.

My Voice Experience

I don't have a lot of professional voice over experience, per se, but what I lack in professional experience, I make up for in professional presentations and speaking engagements that I have done in the past. My voice is engaging, and when I speak, people tend to listen.

My Training

I love to sing, and do many various recordings in my own home studio.

I have trained with client service representatives in my own professional field, which helped with my vocal tone, pace, articulation, and demeanor, while speaking with clients and professionals alike.

My Studio Equipment

I produce music in my spare time and also sing on my own recordings. I have a complete studio setup including: Apple iMac, running Logic Pro as my DAW, M-Audio BX8a monitors for playback, AKG condensor microphone w/pop filter, routed to an M-Audio firewire interface for ultimate clarity. I use a pair of Sony MDR 7506 and Extreme Isolation EX-25 headphones for monitoring my own vocal recordings.
I also have an isolation booth for the most ideal recording environment for vocals. You can be assure that the recordings I make will sound just as professional as any other out there.

Additional Skills

I produce electronic music, so if there's ever a need for background music to accompany any voice over work, I can wrap it up in one package.

I have worked in a customer service role, in my own profession, for over five years for the same financial institution. As a client service representative, I speak with various clients and professionals alike. My voice has always been a factor in the success of my profession, and the many satisfied clients are my proof.
