My Training

A professional drummer, Darren studied at Trinity College Of Music, Leeds College Of Music and The Guildhall School Of Music And Drama. He has a degree in Jazz and contemporary music and a Graduate Diploma in Jazz.

His musical training has given Darren an excellent understanding of pitch, rhythm, pace, emphasis and intonation and his keen musical ear makes him extremely versatile, adaptable and malleable.

Darren also worked on hospital radio for 2 years, presenting Classical Music and Jazz shows as well as outside broadcasts and specials.

I am a professional drummer, passionate about music. I have always loved radio, impressionists, cartoons and characters and have always found I have a keen ear for mimicking! I also went acting school as a child, and I feel that this lack of inhibition (!) comes in very handy for my voiceover work.

I love doing this job and really enjoy working with clients to get the perfect results that they require - no matter what the style of read.
