Voice Description
I Live Maine, but am , by no means, limited to the stereotypical new-englander accent. But I can do a very nice yankee when needed.
My voice is sexy and smooth but can be coaxed into almost any male character.
My timbre is warm and trustworty for compelling radio spots. Well rounded and inflected, my voice will catch and hold a listener's attention and remain with them for some time.
I love to read longer pieces: stories and serials. I provide professional reading skills.
I read PG Wodehouse to keep my style sharp with a sense of humor. His writing is very fraught with verbal trip-ups and is very nice excercise.

My Voice Experience
I have recorded in Television and Radio Studios, doing continuity and advertising spots.
I learned copy writing and production work at New England School of Broadcasting in 1983-84. I also gained proficiency in microphone techniques, interviewing and color commentary.
My Training
I attended New England School of Broadcasting where I learned to read aloud without much rehearsal, if any. This means we have fast turn-around time.
I have worked in radio as a news-reader and voice talent for almost 30 years. I landed my first radio job at sixteen.
I am an active Amateur Radio Operator and am a part of a team that works side-by-side with Maine Emergency Management providing reliable, clear communication.
When I am chosen to your voice talent for a project, I will re-do and re-work until you have what you need.
