My Voice Experience
I have never had a professional job, but I admire voice actors and have always shown interest in the business. I'm fascinated by those who can change their voices and act in a microphone with no other actors around. I pay close attention to voices whenever I watch my favorite cartoons, animes, and video games; how they express their voices in such amazing ways. I have taken acting classes and performed in high school, and am currently taking Speech and Theatre as my major in community college. My theatre teacher loves my voice, because it's so different from any other girl's; it's low and deep instead of high and squeaky and perky. I like my voice too, and I believe I can shine in the voice acting business.
My Training
I'm currently working towards an Associate's degree in Camden County College for Speech and Theatre. I have auditioned to be an extra in the film The Last Airbender. In high school, I was in the show and regular choir as a second Alto, and I took three semesters of Drama and Shakespeare. I was in three high school musicals, and took three summers of summer camp, Mainstage: Center for the Arts at Camden County College.
My Studio Equipment
Unfortunately, I do not have a studio. I could go to my old singing teacher for help; he lives nearby and has a great studio. I have Audacity and am able to record a small sample of my voice and send it via email.
Additional Skills
I'm not a busy person and I have loads of free time, but I enjoy my free time immensely. Though I am young, I'm very reliable and committed to anything I do. I don't slack off; I get things done right away. I have done volunteer work, but have never been paid for any of my services.
