Voice Description

My natural voice is deep and smooth but I have the ability to do many different voices given the situation. I can do cartoonish voices, i.e. South Park, Simpsons. Some celebrity impersonations and others. My accent is naturally southern, but can be altered for a non-regional accent, a northern accent, or even a foreign accent.

My Voice Experience

My experience actually goes back to my first love in life, the wild world of professional wrestling. I got into broadcasting specifically for that reason, which I did make a living off of as the host of a TV show entitled NWA-Wildside wrestling out of Atlanta. The show is broadcast in the states via the Showbis, Inc. syndication network on several PAX, UPN and WB affiliates nation wide, as well as internationally in Italy and The U.K.

I hosted over 200 consecutive episodes of weekly television in which I worked as an on-air talent, doing simulated sports play by play (and narrating the wild and colorful storylines associated with pro wrestling). I also worked for the company behind the scenes as the Vice President of operations,production assistant, creative assistant and television script writer.

The show is still currently active under new ownership with the same TV network under the name NWA Anarchy Wrestling. I now play a villain guru type character in which I lead a rouge group of misfits in the destruction of the company. It's very similar to a Manson-esqu cult leader. My interviews are a key compoment of the story.

I've also done lot's of promotional voice-over work in my time with the production unit of our team. I've done radio spots for Clear Channel stations in Chattanooga, TN,, Hickory, NC, Athens, GA, and Atlanta, GA hyping upcoming events in those towns. I also appeared as a guest on The Morning Rock on Rock 103 in Athens, GA as well as Mike @ Nite on WRXR Rock 105 in Chattanooga.

I've also been the front man in numerous hard rock/southern rock/and heavy metal bands, displaying a wide variety of singing voices, and I also dabbled in some theatre, and got a couple lead roles, but it really wasn't for me..so I've been grabbing people's attention most my life.

My Training

I'm a humble man with very little formal training. I took a few community college seminars in broadcasting, had some Army National Guard experience in communications, and was a stand out on my high school drama team. I believe my experience of being thrust into a do or die enviornment and succeeding with flying colors, and my 5th year of appearing weekly on internationally distributed television are proof of what I can do. I'll audition for anyone if they don't believe me.

I'm a man seeking more than the 9 to 5. Before the wrestling business crashed following the business boom of the late 90's I'd finally secured a full time position doing what I wanted to do. With our business being a grass roots effort, and the economy rapidly declining, my full time pay went to part time pay, and I continued doing the same duties out of dedication and loyalty. I am a loyal and honest person, who's up for any challenge and if you're fair with me, I'll give you everything I have and then some.
