My Voice Experience

I've done cutomer service work over the phone most of my working life. I did telemarketing work (yes, I was one of THOSE people!). I worked in a call center for an insurance company here in Milwaukee, WI (Assurant Health from July 1997 to May 2006) and, I think some of the female customers seemed to be flirting with me via the phone, because they'd keep me on the phone for a long time and seemed to be making up problems that didn't really exist. I've always heard it said that I have a face that was made for telephone work...I chose to take that as a compliment. So, I have not done actual recording work (although the calls I took at Assurant were recorded for training purposes), but I have a lot of experience with speaking into microphones.

My Training

Reading from scripts doing telemarketing and customer service work. I sing in an Irish band and have recorded a cd of some of my original music (under the band name One Dirty Dog). Currently attending online classes with an aim for a Bachelor's degree in Communications.
