My Voice Experience
Three decades in news/talk radio. 18 years at ABC/Disney-owned WBAP in #5 market Dallas-Fort Worth. The most-listened-to radio news anchor in Texas for 15 years! Dozens of awards including the national Edward R. Murrow award for Best Major Market Radio Newscast (2000 RTNDA). Now freelance news/talk radio and voice talent, podcaster (One of the podcasts I voice/produce was on the iTunes Music Top 40 this past summer).
Live announcer for world-class events in NFL and major college stadiums. This year alone I've announced in the Rose Bowl, the RCA Dome, the Alamodome, Stanford Stadium and the Georgia Dome to name a few.
My Training
Currently hosting a food/cooking show on Dallas-Fort Worth radio. It's recorded in front of a studio audience with celebrity guest chefs in a 60-seat demo kitchen theater. Lots of experience with live audience events and performing arts. Emcee of several classical music events.
