My Voice Experience

My experience in voice over started at an early age, not with a paying gig or anything just my affinity for cartoons, movies, and the characters in them. I was always imitating the voices I heard growing up, I created an arsenal of "voices in my head" that I could bring forth on command. While I was still in High School, I attended the Connecticut Schools of Broadcasting at night so I could finish both at the same time and dedicate myself to honing my skills. I have recorded a couple of demos, and one landed me an internship at the American Comedy Network in Milford CT! It was there that I was first paid for use of my voice. I have been a voice talent as an extra in several scripts, and I recently portrayed Jar-Jar Binks in a parody movie promo. That material was sent out on a bi-weekly topical comedy CD to radio affiliates nationwide, and is available for the public

My Training

I have a certificate of completion from the Connecticut Schools of Broadcasting in Stratford CT. I have also attended post-grad voice over seminars with one of the teachers. While at the American Comedy Network I was also a freelance writer and contributed to some of the scripts i ended up reading.

Additional Skills

In addition to writing and performing, I am able to produce and edit audio material. My main focus since graduating CSB has been audio editing and voice overs. While employed at CSB I have assisted and trained students on Cool Edit Pro and how to assemble projects in a studio.
