Voice Description

I believe that my voice pleases many aspects of the voice spectrum. I wouldn't start looking for work in this field if I didn't have something to bring to the table. I've found my voice very relaxed and moderately deep. Not so deep that I seem like I've smoked 12 packs of cigarettes, but deep enough to be professional. Being 20 gives me the both the Teenageish voice while being able to also sound more adult. I am very well spoken. Having worked most of my life with the public I have frequently been confused for management because of how I hold myself and speak. Straight forward speaking and very little slang makes me seem not only old fashioned, but more respectable for someone my age.

Additional Skills

While I have not done any professional voice over work, I have worked with the public for many years. I find myself frequently solving problems simply with how I cary myself and speak. I sometimes believe that I would be better suited for a career in customer service, but a customer service job narrows my room to grow. I'm too outgoing and spontanious for anything as constricting as that. I've always been prone to being an entertainer of sorts. I take any chance to be the center of attention and be heard. While working at a family restaurant I take every opportunity to announce an event such as a birthday. Having no scripted announcement, I enjoy making things up as I go and catching the attention of anyone who is there to listen. My voice demands the attention and drowns out anything else in the room. I prefer to put on a show rather than watch it.
