Voice Description

My voice in tone is a familiar one...I am the friendly, fun loving guy next door. For commercials, I tend to have an energetic tone and pride myself on comedic timing. As a comedy writer and producer in the entertainment industry and former William Morris Agency VO director, I understand the client vantage point re overall messaging and how to best mold to and sell that messaging. Warm, fun loving, straight read, comedy, character or music - I have a creative vision for how to make the copy shine. I also specialize in comedy music, from guy with guitar, nerdy white rapper or serious rapper. I currently have a national Budweiser "rapping" spot running, which sounds nothing like my default voice.

My Voice Experience

While I started in the VO booth at the age of 11 doing commercials, it was working at the William Morris Agency in the VO department which reignited my love of voice-over. I have had national spots (one for Budweiser still running currently) - but I am also constantly in the booth at home in my spare time, because I have so much fun with it. Currently, I am a producer at Mark Burnett Productions, based out of Los Angeles, with a focus on primetime network programming. While I am a performer, a large part of my job is understanding how to sell client messaging. In simple terms...because I am not only talent...."I get it".

My Training

I have had one on one training with the most respected voiceover artists in the country, repped by the William Morris Agency. I have auditioned for and booked jobs with WME and have had a strong focus on VO not only from an auditioning standpoint, but from a production point of view. Commercials, music, industrials...I look forward to be as prolific in the VO world as possible.

My Studio Equipment

I work mainly from my mac and a condenser mic in my home studio. I am able to edit my takes together or send the straight reads. I have tested the quality of these reads against WME client standards and have never had any issue.

Additional Skills

While the above should accurately represent my overall ability - I have to say again that I specialize in Comedy Music. Whether it is performing your copy or writing the music to match your messaging - or both : ) - no writing job too small. Comedy music is a very strong passion and I have many musical comedy projects that have been often featured on the largest online platforms and radio.

I have a strong passion for writing commercial copy as well. My degree is in creative writing and I pride myself on being able to turn copy around quickly and with great pace and messaging. Focus on comedy but I adapt to whatever the client needs.
