My Voice Experience

My name is Dan Levy. I have been doing radio in Chicago for the last 8 years. I have done Promo's, Commercials, dj'd at strip clubs, Public address announcing for sporting events, play-by-play, phone scams and everything under the sun as far as voice work for Chicago's Alternative Q101.1 and there super powered ex-morning show in Mancow's Morning Madhouse.

I also run my own online production company. Also, I just become the fill-in public address announcer for the Depaul Blue Demons.

My Training

I have earned a B.A. at Columbia College Chicago. I've been doing Chicago Radio for the last 8 years. I have two voice over coaches that I still visit with regularly and I have been studying with Bill Ratner, a man who is one of 5 voice over guys in the industry who is making 7 figures.

They have all helped and continue to train me. I also, have done improv show's, voice acting for big morning radio shows and anything else that I can do to perfect the art of voicing.

My Studio Equipment

I have a mackie pro control board, fast track pro audio interface. I use an AKG Perception 220 Condenser Microphone.

I record off of Sony Sound Forge and I use Sony Vegas to edit everything down.

Additional Skills

I do sports announcing, I've dj'd at strip clubs, I've been known to get lots of truck and motorcycle commercials. But at the same token, I've done Lexus commercials, Land Rover commercials, Advil commercials, Napa Auto parts, Toyota, BMW and grocery commercials.

I have done Play-by-play sports, Public Address Announcing for Basketball, Softball, Volleyball and Soccer. Also a highly skilled Ring announcer at Boxing and wrestling events.

I can do anything that requires a voice and I've never left a client unhappy!
