My Voice Experience

For many years I was the voice of LBC 1152 overnight news radio. This demanded a phenomenal number of voice modulations to reflect the gravitas of the type of news story being read.
All within fast moving half hour slots.

My Training

My voice was tweaked throughout my radio career, so that you could say I learnt on the job. However,I consider myself a natural and being a musical person, I find the adjustments to different demands challenging and fulfilling.
I also spent much time learning to speak in public through my other job as a lay minister where projection of the voice was essential to achieve effective communication.
