My voice is an unusual hybrid of American, English and Irish. I can easily adapt my vocal style to suit each project. My styles included warm soft and soothing tones to rock and roll aggressive tones to fun youthful and exciting. The main characteristic that runs true through all my voices is a sense of honesty and believability.

My Voice Experience

When I was living in London I presented two weekly radio shows on Total Rock and would voice commercials for the station. I have also voiced radio packages for BBC World Service, BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music. I am new to voice overs but have voiced narration for an ITV (British Broadcaster) documentary on the 60th anniversary of D Day.

My Training

I have not been formally trained for voice overs, but I studied acting at University. I have always been been able to do different vocal styles and working in Radio for the past 4 years has helped me learn how to focus my craft. I am very easy to work with and take direction well.

Additional Skills

As well as being a voice over talent, I am also a radio producer and engineer. I have produced documentaries and features for BBC World Service, BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music. I also used to produce and present two weekly shows on Total Rock (music radio) in London and I am currently engineering Morning Edition on WNYC. Although I have done all these roles, I focus on the task I am appointed to do. If I am voicing then I am not producing or engineering.
