Voice Description
My voice talent includes speaking in just about any accent; Australian, Indian, Jamaican, Scottish, Irish, German, Russian, French, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, Hungarian, and nearly all regional styles of British accents. In the American category, I can impersonate all types of southerners; cowboys, hillbillies, etc. Same goes for the midwest and the north; Bostonians, New Yorkers, "Yoopers" (being from Michigan, that one is easy), even Canadians and Hispanics. There's also just about anything in between, from surfer-punk to someone who sounds like they're from the movie "Fargo." I can act just about any age, with various forms of vocal tones, pitches and deformities from a raspy Tom Waits/Howlin Wolf style growl, to a smooth-talking lounge singer, to a high pitch helium-filled little kid. I tend to make up my own characters so I am hesitant to claim that I can impersonate any specific celebrity, although I have been able to do very well at voices resembling folks like Woody Allen, Johnny Carson, John Travolta, Phil Hartman (doing his talk-show host voice from the Simpsons), Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Ren (of Ren and Stimpy). I'm confident I can learn to impersonate others. I've just always preferred to create my own voices. My plain speaking voice sounds very well too, and I do have some experience on radio, as well as TV and theatre acting.

My Voice Experience
Aside from the fact I've done different voices since youth, I've had considerable experience on stage, in both college and community theater, for the last 10 years. I was also a student of Broadcasting & Cinematic Arts in college where I wrote, directed, and performed in several television projects that included sketch-comedy, mini-drama, mockumentary, and news anchor. I also deejayed my own weekly, 3-hour radio show for a year, called "Exposure," which was produced by me as well. I co-hosted another radio show from time to time throughout college as well. I also co-wrote, directed, starred in a full length motion picture in college called "No Parking." I also did a lot of voiceover for this project.
My Training
Apart from basic radio and acting experience, I have literally been performing different voices all of my life. One of my earliest memories is sitting in my room as a boy, teaching myself how to impersonate characters like Goofy, Mickey Mouse, Daffy Duck and the Three Stooges. By the time I was in High School, I could impersonate British accents, elderly people, and a growing list of assorted characters. Today, as you have read, the list is longer, and continues to grow.

Additional Skills
I wish I could say I have taken the opportunity in the past to utilize my voice better. But my life path took me toward different careers that, frankly, didn't require me to do any voice acting at all. Now, the path looks uncertain, and I'm making the decision now to do something with this talent. I've been told I could be the next Mel Blanc. I figure it's time to find out.
