Voice Description

Generally, my voice is deep with some light texture, but I can smooth it out or go all the way to gravelly.

For commercial work, I can run the gamut, from hip and cool, relaxed and casual, to down home matter of fact, and the voice of authority.

For narration, my natural speaking voice is low key and relaxed.

For character work, my voice lends well to chesty voiced heroes, gritty characters, or sinister villains.

My Voice Experience

I've done one amateur non paid voice over for a World of Warcraft guild video, prior to any training.

I've also done some announcing for amateur sporting events: high school wrestling, and US Swimming.

I'm eager to get as much experience as I can.

My Training

I'm a student at VoiceTrax SF, with some training in commercial, video game, animation, and narration.

I've also had training in singing, in musical theater, choir, and opera. I performed publicly in theater and choir, but not opera.

My Studio Equipment

I have access to a Tascam recorder, with some AT small diaphragm microphones, or a RODE NT1A, or an AKG 414.

I'm using Audacity on a PC to record/edit.
