My Training

I have a Bachelor's degree from Olivet Nazarene University and a master's from Meadville-Lombard Theological School, and I am currently pursuing my doctorate at Hartford Seminary. I have extensive training as a public speaker, teacher, musician, and dramatist. As a public speaker, I am a preacher and have been a political candidate. As a teacher, I have coached and been captain of debate (policy, congress and Lincoln/Douglass) and speech (discussion, extemporaneous and radio) and have judged tournaments. As a musician, I sing with Yale Camerata, play double bass, and have coached and conducted choirs. As a dramatist, I have participated in plays, musicals, readings, and writing (libretto, lyrics and music).
