My Voice Experience

My experience started in radio like much of the industry. I was an on-air talent for a CHR radio station out of Poughkeepsie, NY. The desire to produce more commercials, promos really hit me during my time there. Although I would be in charge of producing someone elses voice with the piece I was working on, I learned new ways to create the message on my own and compare it to the voice over I was using. Not saying I did a better job, but that's how you learn from the best in the business. No matter who you speak to in the VO industry, the foundation in radio is always a common meeting place.

I graduated from the Institute of Audio Research where my abilities to produce and record were crafted.

My Studio Equipment

My studio includes the following "state-of-the-art" equipment.

ProTools (of course the industry standard)
Avalon 737 Mic Pre (to sweeten the sound coming in)
Sennheiser MKH-416 Shotgun Mic (the best in the business)

I always use various plug-ins from Waves - UAD - McDSP - Focusrite - Oxford.

My monitors are the latest Mackie HRS624MK2. My room has been tuned using this speakers and I can tell you that the most money I spent was in my studios actual construction.

Additional Skills

The service I provide is complete from the actual voice over to the finished product. All production elements required are done in-house and can really separate my service from the competitions. I offer a unique sound design library that is never used twice and remains exclusive to each piece of production. My engineering background really is the biggest contribution to my succes since most of my clients are one-stop shoppers.
