My Voice Experience

Voiced a 60-second commercial spot for Butler's sports casting group called "The Bulldog Blitz." This was a straight-forward narrator style, yet needed a peppy kick to it to grab the audiences' attention.

Voicing three characters in a free Radio Play drama called "World Wide Warrior," which I found through the website Voice Acting Alliance. One of these characters is a deep-throat villain with a thick Arab accent, and another is a slightly lighter Arab accent, though a more raspy tone.

Doing character voices for various parodies on YouTube, including a production of my own called "Gargoyles Abridged." This project calls for me to do character voices ranging from a deep, commanding leader to a young British boy. These first few episodes of this parody were also shown at the last Gargoyles convention, and was well received.

My Training

Currently working on my BA in Digital Media Production at Butler University. Taking classes in video editing, directing narratives, writing for news media and acting.
I am also the bass player for Butler's vocal jazz band, and have performed in orchestra concerts in Junior High School, High School and College.
Have taken introductory classes in audio engineering, and plan to take advanced courses in the coming year, as well as further acting courses.

My Studio Equipment

I record my current work using an AT2020 USB studio microphone and shock mount, and Ableton Live 5 on my MacBook. I use a set of ATH-M40ƒs Audio-Technica studio headphones for playback.

Additional Skills

I have an extensive music background:
Played the String Bass in orchestras for eight years, and Jazz Bass for 5 years.
Performed in my high school and college marching bands for a total of 7 years in the drumline.
In the past I have been involved with the Boy Scouts of American for over 10 years, and on August 2005 I became an Eagle Scout.
Currently I am working in the Information Commons department at Butler University, helping faculty and students with newer software and electronics used around campus.
