My Voice Experience

I'm new to the voiceover world. Have done two voiceovers recently. They needed a " suspenseful" voice. I was there guy. My experience mainly comes from years of "imitating" musicians. I've been in bands my whole life and had to duplicate the sound of voices the best I could. Little did I know this would come in handy at "creating" voices for different occasions, but it has !!

My Training

I learned voice overs primarily from two sources: First from my wife, who has been in radio for 10 years and has done thousands of voiceovers for commercials. She also has done voiceover work outside of radio for 3 years. Second: Being a musician I've had to cover/duplicate many artist's style over the years. This has been invaluable at creating different voices for different situations, be it, a forceful voice, youthful and energetic, thoughtful/ contemplative and on and on. Over the years I developed a knack for "making up" voices !!
