Currently I work on the phones in the customer service/sales industry. I have been invited on dates by customers because my voice is sensual and comforting. My voice can be upbeat and fun for commercials and short promos and also professional, commanding and confident for a business presentation. It also sounds smooth and deep for book narration, museum recordings, radio or movies/documentaries.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I can perform American dialects and a bit of the Jamaican accent. My voice can be inviting as in a commercial for a vacation destination, alcoholic beverage or restaurant. I can be naive like a teenager who can be easily swayed or the base in my voice can be intimate and sexy as a woman trying to make her mate leave work early to meet her at home. I can sound fun and exciting and trusting like someone convincing a child to do an activity they may be unfamiliar with. I'm not sure what people I can do impersonations for because I am new to this industry.

My Voice Experience

As previously mentioned, I am new to this industry but feel like I have a talent that is an asset and that is marketable. I am open to ideas and coaching to help me make a decent living in this line of work. I live in Long Island, New York but have transportation so I am willing to travel to studios in my area for recordings.

My Training

I have a bachelor's degree in Human Relations, Pychology from Pace University in New York City. As electives I took two speech classes and received an "A" in both. I have worked for a telecommunications corporation for the past 12 years and work with customers on a daily basis who always compliment my tone and manner- not to mention the service. I am fresh talent that can be molded. Looking forward to meaningful work that I can be proud of and that will allow me to make a career out of voice over work.

I have 12 years of experience in dealing with the public and have been placed on projects based on my customers' comfort level with me and professionalism. I also have a paralegal certification which can be helpful in contract negotiation.
