Voice Description

Depending on the type of recording, I can make my voice go high-soprano, and low-alto. I can sing on all levels because I have had 5 years of Choir and Women's Chorus. I can do sexy and fun for commericials, smooth and not a bit rocky for presentations, and I can be warm and nice for a narration. My native language is English. MY second language is Spanish. I am also Italian so I speak it, too. I have made 3 songs in Italian. I am only able to make it sexy in my Italian tongue.

My Voice Experience

I was a background singer for a famous singer, Angel Faith. I sing at weddings every chance I get and I have my own business cards out. Things that I don't let everyone know so I have the name "Ashley" when I'm doing a wedding. My story of how I became a wedding singer all started when I was singing at my mother's recital and a lady came up to me and asked me if I would like to have an audition to sing at her wedding because she was desperately needing a singer. I was only about 7 years old and after that first wedding I did more until I was 13 and then I stopped and wrote love songs for a whole year. On my 16th Birthday my friends took me to a Karaoke Bar and we all sang and then some lady walked up and handed me her card and the owner asked me to sing his favorite song. It was great fun. I love to sing.

My Training

I have taken your basic Choir classes and trained myself at home with Chorus C.D.'s. I do my phone-messages and my friends' Cell phone messages. I acted in a play and I was part of our School's Variety Show for 2 years. I have taken Women's Chorus and Concert Choir where we have traveled and performed at several churches. I have written over 177 songs and I have over 200 demos out. I have sung with Angel Faith. In Italy, I got to sing with Jennifer Lopez on her tour 2 years ago and Angel recommended me be her back-up singer. After about 2 years of training she thought I was ready to start a demo on my own. I did a Herbal Essence commercial. I modeled at Barbizon, John Robert Powers, and Roxy.

I take my business very seriously. Singing to most people doesn't seem like a big deal, but to me it is my life. Besides writing, singing is the only other way that I can let my feelings out. I played soccer for 7 years straight so that might be a clue as to how long I stick to things I love to do. Asides from sports, Cheerleading helped my voice out alot. I cheered at my High School last year, and I'm cheering for my High School next year. I am taking a year off to find out where I'm going for College. In cheerleading, you have to yell and you have to scream. You talk alot to other people and you have to be on top of everything besides the pyramid. I thought this information might help you to understand how I love singing and how everything else has helped me along the way just to build me higher and stronger.
