Voice Description
My natural voice is bright, friendly, fun, and modern. My VO voice has a wide range of options as I am am pretty comfortable with my ability change range and character. I can easily read as a bright young vibrant child, teen or young adult and in the next minute tone it down and read as a warm, loving compassionate middle aged mother. I am cheerful, warm and connect well with an audience by capturing them with the personality in my voice. I always get a feel for the script and figure out what it is I am trying to convey to the audience when I perform. You're not always selling a product but a feeling, and I like that to shine though my voice. If I need to really pep things up I can give you a bubbly, happy, go getter. If I need to convey a toned down feel I know how to warm it up for the right project and sound deep, sultry, and/or smooth for a more emotional or professional connection. I have theater back ground and I use that a lot to feel out a script and how I want to perform while I give a read.
I am also able to do character voices and accents. I enjoy working with character voices and entertaining people and children with a wide range of unique and fun voices. This is my main passion and LOVE to really ham it up with characters and accents. I am constantly working on new voices and sharpening my current skills.

My Voice Experience
I started my Voice Over business and wondered why I waited so long! Prior to this wonderful career I have been a Domestic Engineer (aka, Stay-at-home Mom) for the past 13 years to my years to my beautiful children. My children have encouraged me to go into this business because they have been my test subjects all these years listening to me read to them and always using character voices for their bedtime stories. I am even invited to read at our local elementary schools every year for Read Across America Day because the teachers enjoy the fun creative way that I read to the students. I have been doing this for 8 years now. To this day my children, as teens, love to listen to me read them a story in my fun creative voices. I do have theater experience; most recently in a small local theater group. I have been in a choir and sang for many years.
My Training
I did my training with Lisa Foster and Such-a-Voice. I am continuing my VO training at Voice One and various Seminars throughout the US. I just completed a fantastic Acting workshop with the Berkley Repertoire Theater Dec. 1, 2011. I work in community theater in my area. I studied drama, choir, and sang for several years, as well as play musical instruments.
My Studio Equipment
I record in my home studio.I have a MAC, I use Adobe Audition and Pro Tools. I have a M-Audio Fast Track, a RODE NT1-A MIc and Sennheiser Headphones. My studio is new and always "under construction" as I will be making changes as I learn new and better ways to improve.
Additional Skills
I am very flexible and willing to travel if needed. I am finally in my dream job, where I have found my passion and I am ready to work. I have taken debate classes, speech classes, drama and choir. I am articulate and clear. I take direction well and have a clear understanding of acting, backstory, editing script. I am willing to work anywhere doing VO and hope to one day do work in animation. I feel that I have finally found my passion, where I fit in, using my unique tool...my voice.
