My Voice Experience

I have worked for many different mediums delivering a wide and exciting variety of sounds and styles. This includes commercials for children corporate interactive presentations, radio & TV promos, Podcasts, programme/content lineups for TV, corporate on hold phone messages, documentaries and TV billboards.

I have worked with global organisations helping them sell their products in the most successful impactive ways specific to their target audiences. These leading organisations include:

Walt Disney, Avril Lavinge/Sony BMG, BBC WOrld, Sony Pictures, Animax, South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) channel 1 - BBC equivalent, Paramount: Girlfriends, Nickelodeon: Rug Rats, Wild Thornburry's and The Brothers Garcia; BBC World Wide; Sony Pictures: Sony Entertainment Television & Animax.

My Training

I was trained by one of the top producers at 5FM, which is on of South Africa's biggest national radio stations. Many ours where spent focusing on mic technique, voice production, pop and sibilance reduction and clarity of speech and tone.

After around 1 year of training I was taken on as a TV presenter for a funky channel called GO, and as voice over for SACB 1 - which is the largest national TV channel in the country. I secured an amazing opportunity as a freelance radio presenter on 94.7 Highveld Stereo, one of South Africa's largest private stations.

My training has included, acting for film, Meisner, Stanislavski and method. I am currently training as a speech level singer and taking dialect lessons for Neutral American and RP. I have found in my extensive experience, that the best training happens when on a voice over job. Working with different directors producers and other artist allows one to learn so much and experiment with ones voice in fantastic and creative ways!
