Guy next door, rock n roll, young, cool, hip
I believe I have a deep warm and smooth voice that would be good for many areas of voice over. Although my voice can be rather deep I also have a good high range that would work well in a recording that targets a young audience. I would like to think that is where my voice will shine.
Strong diction is important as well so that would be good in making professional presentations in whatever area.

My Voice Experience
I truly believe that I have a talent and would love any opportunity to explore, create and collaborate with someone who shares my passion. My experience is limited as I am just starting out and trying to learn more about the business.
I have taken instructional courses and understand there is much to learn but at same time know that I have what it takes to move forward and demonstrate my talents.
Currently I have available are two commercial demos. One of which is not as polished as the other but does allow you to hear some of my range in that area.
I have worked in the gaming industry for many years now and love the idea of getting behind a mic to really experience the hard work and dedication it takes to create an emotional piece that fits well in the genre.
I studied Meisner in NY for five years at the Acting Studio Inc. under James Price. I continue to have interest in acting but more so behind the mic. In ways I find it more challenging and fun being able to convey emotion behind the mic.
Instructional courses in voice over I have worked with Aliso Creek Voice Over in Burbank, David Babich in Culver City and David Earnest through the Directors Playhouse in Los Angeles.
I am an on and off musician who plays bass guitar and likes to sing. Much of my learning how to play music can be attributed to my good ear. Which has also been a factor being able to pick up on certain accents.
My Studio Equipment
I currently do not have a full studio set up but am most recently working towards soundproofing a small walkway within my apartment.
The mic I am using is a Rode NT-1A complete with pop shield. I think it sounds great and works well with my Scarlett interface.
Again as I am new to the industry I am still learning to work with my recording program that came with the mic but am confident I can bang out a solid recording suitable for auditions. Although sound production I'll leave alone for another guy. :)
As far as additional skills that I think have helped my vocal abilities, I would have to say working in a loud fast paced environment like a restaurant. Learning to project my voice without destroying it in one night and repeat has helped strengthen my voice. On top of that martial arts has helped in improving my projection as well as my breathing.
My acting school in NY was coupled with voice and speech training that I have happily retained.
