Voice Description
I have a very clear speaking voice with a bit of a rasp. I never had much of an accent and then moved down south for a few years which seemed to correct my diction. I've been told that I have a voice that would be great for audio books.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
I can speak with the following accents...
Boston, New York ,Old Jewish man, southern, british. I tend to be able to mimic most accents I hear very quickly. I can also do some impersonations.
My Voice Experience
I'm new to this but have done announcer voices for a few friends on songs they have personally recorded. I have a full studio in my home that I create music with, including a very great mic and mixer. I am often asked where I'm from because people say I have no accent in my regular speaking voice. I have arthritis and the other day at the doctors my rhumetologist had me read a pamphlet and she said I should do this!
My Training
I went to a two year college and majored in communications with the hope of being on the radio. Also, I was a DJ at my school for the four semesters I was there.
I have worked in IT/IS for over ten years so I had to give several seminars on computers and software.
I have been in bands my whole life and have always been the lyricist.
I was the editor of my school newspaper and did every public speaking course that I could while in school.
My Studio Equipment
I have a 4 core computer with 8 gigs of memory. I always record at 24bit and 96hz. I have a Berhinger mixer and a a Behringer C4 microphone that is uni and omni directional. I always use a pop screen also when recording. I use Sony Acid 6 and Sony Soundforge 7.
Additional Skills
I've been writing songs since 1989 and for years my friends and I would do voice overs for commercials for fun.
