Thanks for checking out my profile. I am constantly being told that I have a deep resonant voice and I should be in radio.
Mostly women tell me this, but some males also. I work with the public and I am just surprised to see how many strangers tell me this. My voice is very recognizable and distinct.
I am amazed how often I talk to people on the phone, people Ive only met or talked to, once or twice before, and they recognize my voice before I ever introduce myself. Especially those who I haven't talked to in a long period of time.
I would like to do voiceovers for radio, TV, or any kind of recording. I currently work as an Automotive Mechanic and have been doing so for many years.

My Voice Experience

As a child, I was asked to be in many school plays because my voice "Carries" and I speak clearly.
I have no previous experience doing voice overs. I have been in Automotive new and used car sales and the Automotive repair industry most of my life.

My Training

I learned how to manipulate my voice when I was in the Automotive sales Industry.
When I first started selling cars, one of my managers told me I needed to speak more softly to the women clients. I quickly took his advice and adapted a softer tone. This also benefited me with my daughter and her friends when they were young. I learned to speak softly and my daughter always wanted her bedtime stories from Daddy.
