Voice Description
I specialize in character voices and have a large variety of characters that can be funny or serious. I'm more than an announcer, I am an actor and I can create new voices and characters for specific projects, including animation. I can also do a number of celebrity impersonations. My narration voice is smooth and professional but not real "announcery". I do some of the best high energy "screamer" ads in the business. I am NOT the deep ballsy announcer guy, I am everything else.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
There will not be enough room to list them all but as for accents and dialects, I can do virtually anything. Need a Brittish accent? Do you want Cockney or the Queen's english? Do you know the difference between an Australian and New Zealand accent? I do. Need an Jamacian of Italian descent. Get the picture. Need an old black man from New Orleans talking to a young white guy from Minnesota? I can do both and the announcer tag. As for celebrity impersonations I do a wide variety. To many to list here but I'll try a few. Any character on King of the Hill or Sponge Bob Square Pants, Every President since Kennedy, All the standards from Stallone to Elvis to Schwarzenager, Most of the Muppets, Dr. Phil, Larry the Cable Guy.....The point is, if you need a celebrity impersonation, I can't already do, I will study the voice and perfect it by any means neccesary.
My Voice Experience
My first big voiceover gig was with a production house in Miami Florida. We did a lot of boiler plate or template production for car dealers, furniture stores and restaurants all over the country. I did voice overs for hundreds of clients. My first big national gig was some promo voice over work for VH1 back in the early 90's. I then did a national Snapple radio commercial. Most of my work has been for local and regional clients. I did a Keith Jackson impersonation for a recent Foster Farms Corn Dogs spot. I have a couple of character voices that I do on a regular basis for about 15 different car dealers. I did some national TV voice over work for Mountain Bike TV on OLN and Altamont SpeedWeek on Comcast SportsNet. I've done dozens of industrial videos from Duncan Parking Meters (Used to be Duncan YoYos!) to Humbolt Creamery to the City of Modesto, CA. I do a Wolfman Jack impersonation for the annual Back to Graffiti celebration in honor of the famous movie. I've got a list of references a mile long....Just ask.
My Training
I went to college at Texarkana College and what was then East Texas State Univerisity-Texarkana. That college is now Texas A&M at Texarkana. My major was Radio/TV and Mass Communications. I've also done extensive improv comedy work with a nationally touring group called the Improvisation Foundation. (A lot of live character voice training)
I can also sing jingles and produce jingles and have a number of jingle samples available.
My Studio Equipment
I use ProTools, Audition and SoundTrack Pro(Mac) for some projects, but my favorite program is Samplitude. I use it everyday and its the best there is as far as I'm concerned, even better than ProTools. I have software that allows me to output audio to virtually any file type and virtually any digital effects and compression. I like to use an MBox mic interface and my main voice over mic is an EV-RE20. I also use an AKG C-414. From time to time I will use a Rode, but I don't like it as much as the RE20
Additional Skills
My background is in radio, so I've done thousands of radio spots. About ten years ago I really started getting into video production and that' when my TV voiceover experience really picked up.
I am a very creative person and the best advantage I offer is the ability to handle an entire project from front to back.
I can write the copy, do the character voice, do the announcer voice, add all the music and sound effects, edit and produce the final spot and deliver it on time.
