My Voice Experience
For over 13 years I've been in radio doing commercials, promos, sweepers, imaging, etc. I was production director for 8 of those years, utility operative, board op, psa director, etc. Companies that I worked/work for include Clear Channel, Waitt Radio, Root Communications,
Double O Radio, plus agency work as well. People like/love my work; production skills, voice work, speed and accuracy.
My Training
Got my start at Gulf Coast Community College in Panama City Florida where I held a 4.0 gpa majoring in Radio/TV Broadcast Programming, from there went straight to work for Rock 103 then Arrow 95.9 was aquired by the company. Soon after we grew to four stations including a country station and a Mix station too. I soon became production director for all four. That pretty much kept me busy as you can imagine! Some nicknames for me are Dan the Man, Superman Dan, etc.
My Studio Equipment
I'm currently working in a studio with Adobe Audition (formerly called Cool Edit Pro). I've used reel to reel tapes in the past, cassettes, mini-disc, digital tape including the Roland 8-track.
Additional Skills
I wrote, produced, acted and filmed monster movies when I was a teenager and was written about in the Clearwater Sun (1973).
