Voice Description

I am adept at my Arnold Schwarzenegger voice, as well as emulating Stitch from "Lilo and Stitch", the movie. I also have been told by previous and present co-workers and managers that I have a very nice phone voice, and that I should work in radio. I can meow like a cat, and also do a decent Clint Eastwood impersination. My voice is flexible to a degree; I can do automated voice recordings / greetings, monotone voices, and I can do a pretty sexy male voice as well. I can range from medium pitch to low pitch for extended periods.

My Voice Experience

I've worked in customer service for six years, starting with;

Choicepoint Inc. 1999-2005
Cigna Healthcare 2005-present

I also worked a brief stint at an online university (CTU Online) where I had to interview prospective students.

My "Arnold" voice has to be my strongest asset, as I mimic his voice quite frequently for friends, family, and co-workers.

I'm currently working on my "Southerner Farmhand" voice.

My Training

I have no formal education on voice acting, and consider myself a beginner with potential for bigger things. My friends and I would always do impromptu "skits" which would involve pranking a business into thinking that we were a certain celebrity, and most of the time (I was 14 when we did this) we were convincing enough to fool the person that we called.

Additional Skills

I'm a hands on, dedicated individual, who honestly would like to try to see where my voice skills can take me. No project is too small or considered "too small" for me to take up. If given a sizable, well paying project, I would be willing to travel abroad as the project dictates. From what I've learned in being in a Customer Service role, is the following;

1) I can "BS" a caller into thinking that I know exactly what I am talking about, even if it's a job or problem that I've never encountered. I can be very nervous and the caller never gets the slightest indication that I am.

2) In order to convey to a caller that I am empathetic to their problem and genuinely care, I have to put myself in their shoes.

3) I can sound professional or laid back, switching the flow and tone of my voice as needed without a second thought.
