Voice Description

20+ years radio and TV voiceovers. Have done everything from concert spots and car dealers to jewelry stores and banks. Characters from old-guy to child, off-beat, accents, dialects. As owner of a radio station and ad agency for 10 years, I saw it from "the other side of the desk". I learned to LISTEN to the client. That's the most important aspect of this. Gear the spot to the target audience. Make the spot STAND OUT. Much of it is voice delivery.....but the basic concept AND creative copy is also key. That's why I always liked to help develop ad campaigns. It's one of my favorite challenges.

The great part about owning a radio station and ad agency is getting to know a lot about a LOT of businesses. My favorite challenge? Being invited to a manager's meeting and have them hit you up for ideas on creative campaigns. Just walk in cold....and having to deliver. It teaches you to think on your feet.
