My Voice Experience
I have spent decades (not saying how many) in the radio business as an air personality and production director. I have a boatload of experience in copy writing, voiceover work, multiple voices (not certified as schizophrenic), and finished production. I also host a syndicated radio program, "American Road".
My Training
I learned the art of voiceover work, or "Interpretive Announcing", as a kid, in Cleveland, Ohio...one of America's great radio markets. I was taught by one of the best, the late Howie Lund. He was gracious enough to listen to my tapes and work with me. By the time I was 13, I had my first radio job. Last year, I "retired" from KILT-FM in Houston after 21 years, where I had worked alongside some of radio's brightest personalities, Jim Carola, Robert B. McEntire, Mac Hudson & Irv Harrigan (Fred & Randy). Prior to my hitch at KILT, I worked at KENR with great personalities like Bill Bailey, Steve Lundy, the late Ric Libby and the late Hal McLain. I consider the years spent at these great stations as my "real education".

Additional Skills
I am a top-notch production man with my own studio. I am also a "car nut", with a keen interest in cars of all types, new and classic. When I'm not in the studio, I'm "busting my knuckles" on a project car. I am a former member of the Texas Auto Writers' Association. I am also one of the rotating producers at my church, where every Sunday is a concert. I do volunteer narations for projects at the church. My other hobbies include, biking, hiking, tossing a football or playing basketball with my son. I live the "suburban life" just outside Houston...America's 4th largest city, where life is good.
